The 26th International Scientific Conference on “Achievements in Mechanical and Materials Engineering with Bioengineering and Dental Engineering” AMME-bio 2024, joined with “For you WW Worldwide CEEPUS Workshop Integration,” is organised on 20th-23rd May 2024 in Wisła-Malinka, Poland, and has numerous accompanying events. It is a regular encounter of scientists from various areas of materials and mechanical engineering to facilitate an exchange of ideas between researchers worldwide. It also allows the presentation of the results of the efforts of the young PhD students taking their first steps in scientific society. To make these meetings even more fruitful, many accompanying events allow delegates from various scientific projects and networks to meet. The conference delegates feature an excellent forum to witness the awarding of contributors with the greatest merits to developing the activities exerted in this field.
The AMME conference, in its highly successful series, acquires a new level both in terms of scope and geographical range. The contributors have come so far from the Americas, Asia, Australia, Africa, and Europe. The conferences in this series were very fruitful, as the proceedings of these conferences totalled nearly 3700 papers.
- ca. 550 in the extended version of Journal of Materials Processing Technology (indexed by Web of Science),
- ca. 2050 in Journal of Achievements in Materials and Manufacturing Engineering,
- ca. 1050 in Archives of Materials Science and Engineering,
- ca. 30 in Archives of Computational Materials Science and Surface Engineering,
- and ca. 100 in the journals of the Inderscience Publishers in Switzerland and Great Britain.
All accepted abstracts of the AMME-bio 2024 Conference are published in the Conference Programme and Proceedings.

Since their origin, the AMME conferences have featured the forum where new workgroups were coined that later submitted proposals of international projects within the CEEPUS, COPERNICUS, TEMPUS, LLP-ERASMUS, and ERASMUS+ programmes’ frameworks and the Fifth, Sixth, and Seventh Framework Programmes forced on European Union activities in the field of research, technology, and demonstration. Accompanying events, including the General Assembly of the World Academy of Materials and Manufacturing Engineering, the Meeting of the Association of Computational Materials Science and Surface Engineering and for you WW Worldwide Workshop CEEPUS 2024 and Students’ Session – Students’ Show, accompany the conference this year.
REBRANDING
Our previous logo for the academic conference featured a traditional depiction of an owl—a timeless symbol of wisdom, knowledge, and scholarly pursuits. While the owl has been an enduring representation of intellect, the old logo began to feel somewhat dated and disconnected from the evolving landscape of academia.
In our rebranding initiative, we have retained the symbolic owl while giving it a contemporary, academic flair. The redesigned owl now exudes not only wisdom but also a sense of scholarly modernity. The refined appearance, with subtle adjustments to the owl’s features, reflects our commitment to advancing education and staying abreast of the latest developments in academia.
This refreshed logo signifies our ongoing pursuit of knowledge and scholarly excellence, ensuring that our conference remains a dynamic platform for intellectual exchange and advancement in the academic realm. While the overall owl symbol remains familiar, the subtle refinements convey a sense of progression and relevance to contemporary academic pursuits.
